General Information


Before Law No. 2001 / 020 of December 18, 2001, a law promulgated by the President of the Republic on the organization of professional real estate agent, there reigned a total confusion in the business of real estate. The public was confronted with all sorts of people claiming to realtor. Today, there are real estate agents, recognized and approved by the State. They are professionals. Decree
No. 2007/1138 / PM From 03 September 2007 signed by the Prime Minister lays down rules for implementing this law.
Real estate is a sector where a teeming multitude of activities for intervention methods very diverse.
The law which we have referred is the following property transactions:
- The purchase, sale, lease or rental of buildings in built and unbuilt
- The purchase, sale, rental or lease management of commercial business
- The subscription, purchase, sale of shares or property companies intended to give an allocation of local property or enjoyment
-The purchase, sale of non-tradable shares when the company's assets include a building or a business
-The property management

A real estate agent is one that is approved by the State and who holds a professional certificate signed by the Minister in charge of housing. A real estate agent is one that is localized, with a firm. You have the right to request references to authorization and the number of his business card. With taxes, the commission returns between 09.54% and 04.77%. Very often, real estate agents the radius between ten percent and five percent (10% and 05%) Taxes

If rental, commission estate agent is legally set at ten percent (10%) of net rental income from one year (Article 32-b of the Decree n ° 2007 / 1138 / PM of 03 September 2007). Often estate agents accept one (01) months of net rent to avoid lengthy calculations.
As for furnished apartments and villas, the agent receives a commission of ten percent (10%) of the total amount calculated for the entire period of stay of the client.
